A thermocouple is a basic temperature-sensing device widely used in various applications. It consists of two different metal wires joined at one end, known as the “junction.” When this junction is exposed to a temperature gradient, it generates a small voltage, known as a thermoelectric voltage. This voltage is directly proportional to the temperature difference between the junction and the other end of the wires.
